Five skimmia, with glossy green leaves and dense, softly scented buds, are hand tied as the body of the bunch. Next, our florists place eight delicate alstroemeria whose thin petals provide a contrast of texture and shape. Finally, eight pink roses are evenly distributed amongst the bunch to give a sense of class and imbue the bunch with a deeply traditional meaning.

Pink roses have a rich and varied history, being one of the earliest wild roses to be found in the UK. As other varieties of rose became available, so the meaning of the pink rose became more specific and today it is said that pink roses represent grace, elegance, sweetness and gratitude. Vase Life Guaranteed

Your bouquet is a personal message and we want the message  to last as long as possible. Since we control the whole chain of delivery from grower to your loved one's front door we can assure that your bouquet will last at least a week. Some of our bunches live for two or three weeks. To make sure that the floral arrangement is in perfect condition when it arrives, we transport all our bouquets in enriched water. The recipient only has to cut the stems, add some of the plantfood and fresh water to a vase and enjoy their gift!

But we didn't stop there: we have also aquired a small forest of Fruit trees in the Transkei, a rural region in South Africa. So not only do we absorb Carbon by planting a tree for every 100 deliveries, but by planting fruit trees we also help improve the nutritrion of the people in the rural villages of the Transkei.
